I thought about getting these rather than replacing all six. And it is a much better alternative then those ugly chrome ones.... just thought id share and gather opinions.

No offense, but looks like to me!
I'd definitely paint them, but then there's gotta be something cheaper than $70. Why pay extra for a CF look that you're just going to cover.

I wasnt sure how i felt about them, although i felt it was a much better alternative to the chrome ones. All of mine look terrible, so i didnt think this was that bad of an alternative to painting them.

I wonder how hard it is to remove ours and paint them? I was thinking about just rattle-canning mine flat black and calling it a day.
I'm just not a fan of the CF look, period. Our '09 Vue has a simulated CF trim on the inside, and I hate it. I'd rather have fake wood-grain, given the choice. But then, I'm very much old-school.

I did that to one of them, look like **** in no time, worse then it originally did. I sanded off the paint and back at square one. I just dont know what else to do. The removal of them is actually really easy.
