Just got the car back...
And the damned power steering line split! SOAB!!! Figures, huh? Car goes to the dealer to get fixed when the parts are in. What next? The body work turned out great though...

You know...when women are screwed over they get their hair done. Us guys go out and get a new mod....its sounds like you need a new mod...its christmas after all!

there's a recall for that power steering line issue.. get it done... won't cost ya anything...
had it done to mine last month...
but the recall offer expires Feb. 2011, so get it done soon!!

I am having a friend do it for me. It's just the rubber line in the back. I am sure a new one will do the same thing after a few years. I plan on fixing this permanantly. The guy I am having do this is cutting the metal collar off and installing better rubber line (trans. line) and double clamping the rubber line after the bump that was holding on the metal collar. It should never come off if done this way. I hate dealers and with my current luck they will probably re-flash my PCM or something. The mechanic I am having work on it helped me out every step of the way with this car and he has never done me wrong. It's a trust factor type thing. Body work looks great though.
Of course I can't stay away from here. Too many good people.
