The T/A changed my mind though. As for the 3" exhaust, do it. I had one fabbed for the car and with a catless DP (or headers), tune, HS 1.8s/pushrods/springs, it definitely felt like the car pulled better up top.

So what most of you would recommend is to go to a shop and get one fabbed up?

Oh, yeah since that was the original question... yes. Some have taken the magnaflow as a direct bolt on, some have taken gtp kits and modified, and others have just bought pieces. I think it all works out to about the same just depends on what you want to get into.
I recommend going to the custom route. However, with one very important caviat, find a shop you trust to do 3 inch. Not every shop can. Like i said, I went to 5 at least before I found 1 I felt comfortable with. And then I showed him my plan, after all he's the exhaust pro.
