Default 07 GXP Bought last week dead battery

I purchased my 192k mile gxp from an original owner last week and now I believe it has a dead battery. When I tried to jump it and turn it over the horn when nuts and so did the lights on my dash. I wasn't able to get it jumped and then removed the battery and got it tested to see if it would hold charge. Of course it didn't...

Now I am looking for a direction on a battery...

Do i dump the $ for a redtop or is there another decent one you guys have had luck with? It was a b1tch getting the battery out today

What is the correct battery size? I've done some research and came up group 34 online, advanced auto gave me a red top below http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._1373101945___

Rebuilt at 135k... He claimed that one morning reverse was gone...

Are there any LS4s with 200+ miles lol?

Should I monitor the fluid's color or just change it religiously at 20-30k?

I've read the trans aren't very reliable and a cooler helps out... Which cooler you guys using?

I also have a 99 GTP which IMO is a little more fun to drive (besides the cracked front sway bar n rear clunk because of rust rear strut tower)... Idk if its because I really have to get on the throttle with the LS4 compared to the L67 but when I do get on the GXP it does move. Just had a tune up with no leaks. My GTP has 176 original motor & trans n still runs like its never gonna die lol.

Nice huh? Lol. I do all the work to it myself. Kept up with all of my scheduled services. Did them all early anyway. Never had any slipping issues with my 1st tranny, just went completly out one day while at the grocery store.
