It's official, Tranny destroyed.
Hello everyone,
I know I have been away for a while but I just thought I'd let you know that I just joined the blown tranny club. So, I take the car to have the steering rack checked out out as there's a seal leak and a pulley whine somewhere. I told the guy to order the parts, mainly a new steering steering rack . Then on the next day I go for a drive, a minute later the tranny gave up. I had to stop in the middle of the road to turn it off and back on so it goes back to the first gear for a few seconds, made it home. Towed it to Mr. Transmission the morning after. Apparently it needs some electrical work and a transmission rebuild. All this happened at 58000 KMs haha. Also note that it was running very weird the past few weeks especially the few days before it died.
Sorry to make you read all that but I wanted to share my thoughts with you guys.

If you buy a reman from GM, you'll only have the same problem again later on.
Call Dave @ TEP and never have to worry about it. Besides, a built trans from TEP still costs less than a GM reman.

Just got the car back, transmission fully rebuilt, ZZP shift kit and a tranny cooler added. The car drives way smoother and the shifting is heaven!
Thanks for the reply fellas
