Default Finally taking the Gxp in to the Dealership

The past couple days my transmission be acting as if it only have a few days to live. Just about every complete stop and drive off its been acting like it was a stick shift and I was ridding the clutch then bump hard into gear. Called my Dealership and talk with a service and he told me to bring it on in, they'll probably have to order a transmission. So today I used my time demodding; nitrous kit, shift kit, throttle body space, cold air intake, exhaust cut-out, motor mount and shorter dog bone. Wish me luck on the GM 100,000 Powertrain Warranty.

you do have a 2007 thats covered under gm factory warranty, for 100,000 miles, thas the easy part ..your mods will kill the warranty..my opinion is to de-mod as soon, as possible,! and good luck ! i own a 2007 covette/ zo6 427 cubes/505 hp..also carries a 100,000 warranty, just like your car..if i blow this engine up and gm finds anything not, factory stock ! no warranty ! mine is pure stock b/c i dont have a additional / $20,000. for installed new engine..funny thing is some hot guys [pure stock ] running in low 11 second range , at the drags !..with rear drag tires only/ still pure stock, can run high 10 seconds.. wow , why mod ? rkvette

Felt great and ran pretty good too. Times drop from 9.0's to 8.50's in the 1/8th mile on street tires. I've had a set of Nitto DR but haven't tried them out yet due to the trans.

It'll be ok man. Its all on the service managers call. I work at a dealership and we do a lot more then we hould. The only thing I hope they don't do is IF they didt warrenty it from mods they would put a warrenty block on your vin number. Which would void the rest of your 100k warrenty. Good luck though

He pretty much told me if I can make the car act up with one of there guys riding with me or driving it, they'll fix it with no problems. They just can't fix it by me saying what its doing. They mods asked or said anything bout mods, like I said when I took it to them the only mod it had is mufflers. Completely stock under hood. He actually act like he wanted to tell me just tear the trans up and bring it back. I'll figure out something by Monday. I believe if wasn't or didn't want to fix it they wouldn't have wanted me to leave it there over the weekend or told me to bring it back.
