alot of people on here run 255's all the way around, some run 275's front and 255's rear. im gonna get 255's all around so i can rotate them and will also look a little beefier from the rear

Why?

BMW doesn't recommend rotation on their tires... In the end it evens out anyway. Backs last for 2-3 front sets.

Front's stick out pretty far on the rear end, doesn't look great IMO. Pontiac did smaller rears to balance under-steer and over-steer in hard cornering.

245s in the back, not 255s. It's to reduce torque steer, add balance in cornering, and improve overall traction. RWDs can have staggered setups why can't we? /thread

EDIT: You can move them side to side, it helps. Not trying to be an ***, but you should have researched before you bought the car, I knew it had staggered wheels before I bought mine.

It dramatically improves cornering IMO. After owning 4 grandprixs i can definately tell a difference the way this car handles compared to the others. Its miles above the other ones.

The stock rears are 225/50-18 not 245. I'm currently running 235/50-18 on the rears and stock size on the front.

I meant coupled with the 275s, I know the stock sizes. I've been through plenty of tires.
