Default The escapades of JP GXP and the White Demon.

First off, WTF?! I tried to go back to that account and it was banned and locked me out. I had to come to freakin' Internet Explorer to see the site.

Anyway, I had it weighed again, ~3350.

Ran 4 times at IFO in Gilliam, track prep was terrible and it was in the 50s;

1st run: 14.73 @ 98.7, 2.45 60'
2nd run: 14.57 @ 99.5, 2.47 60'
Opened cutout
3rd run: 13.78 @ 98.2, 2.14 60'
4th run: 14.23 @ 100.3, 2.49 60'

I was shooting for mid-low 13s but the track was so badly prepped it wasn't funny. I also for some reason I took my filter off and it ran like crap, so I could have ran the time I wanted if I would've left the filter alone.

13.78 is damn decent, the only good 60 foot of the night!

Considering I have a hellacious tune and stripped interior, it's an awful time.

Even the mostly stock Hondas were spinning bad... Antiscore was owning me on all four runs.

You should've came up, lol.

Take the filter off before you leave for the track the ECM needs to re calibrate itself I have had this issue on other vehicles

if you are trying to get the ecm to retune itself to account for changes in airflow or octane ... dont you need to disconnect the battery long enough for the car to reset itself ??

speaking of which, i never cleaned my MAF when i installed my CAI, when it gets warm enough out, i need to clean my engine compartment, the MAF, grease all the suspension stuff and bushings ...

i cant ******* wait for summer

JP, those are decent times for suboptimal conditions. If you can get that 2.1x and 100mph on the same line, I think you'll be much closer to your goals. Tuning has a huge effect too.

Have you posted pictures anywhere since you finally got the car painted? I'm assuming you did get it painted, because calling a rattle-canned flat-black car the White Demon doesn't make any sense.
