To have an awesome 220 limit, I don't think the ECM would like it.

^^^^^
what he said about the 220 limit....I want to pick one up but I want to make sure I won't run into issues before doing so. I would assume it should be plug and play but I wanted to know if anyone here has swapped one before without any problems

Plug and play.

Source: A Canadian friend with an '06 GP GT (base/non-GXP Canadian (220 km/h) cluster) who swapped to, and is currently using, a US (160 MPH) GXP cluster.

If you do swap it, are you gonna keep your HUD reading MPH?? I don't know if this automatically changes with the cluster or not...

i have a canadian car and i can change the cluster from km/h to mph with the puch of a button, dont see why it wouldnt be plug and play so you can have a 220mph or km/h cluster instead of a 160 limit cluster.

I'm assuming that the HUD will keep reading past 160mph but I would love to hit the on star button"hi my speedometer ran out can you tell me how fast I'm going"

You'll have to buy new as I haven't seen them on eBay. And trust me, I've been looking for a while now.

I love it! I have my exhaust in my trunk (see signature)
I'm driving it now but I don't want to because its slushy out now and lots of gravel on the roads, but I have no choice because my winter beater (89 chevy astro van) fuel pump gave out 2 days ago.

Or maybe we could get with Patrick at monsterspartsonline.com for a group buy.

EDIT: Also, you could buy the Canadian cluster and sell your existing cluster to the non-GXP guys at a discounted price
