I have to say it is worth the drive. I just got mine redone and it shifts amazing. The car is faster now. I almost when with ZZP because they are only 45 miles away but after talking to them on the phone I was not impressed. After talking to Dave I was sure I needed to make the drive. He was cheaper and saved me money. He makes the right recommendations based on what you need. He is not trying to talk you into upgrades you do not need. ZZP was more expensive and gave no direction at all except to tell me they do not recommend tranny coolers because they leak. Besides the tranny Dave installed free of charge a tranny cooler with el primo fittings because he is working on a DIY package to sell. My car was his test project.

You can also order the parts from Dave and have a shop build per his recommendations!

That's what I had to do. And Dave will work with your builder if there are any questions or concerns. I know my buddy's shop, who did my upgrade/install, spent some time on the phone with Dave.

I need to find someone whod be willing to drop my trans for me and let my car sit for a few weeks while I find a way to get it to TEP

But my perferred method would be to order TEPs rebuild kit, but then Im having trouble finding someone who can ream and install the sonnax valves into the valve body and channel plate

I think the easiest way to drop the trans is to drop the whole subframe, at least thats how the guy at a chevy dealer I work at does it
