roller rocker ppl come in please... Ok. long and the short of it.
08 GXP, purchased with ~5500 miles on it in May 08.
Put a set of roller rockers on it immediately (brand withheld for now).
Fast foreward to now, ~55k miles on the rockers. Several of them look to be worn off on the sides. I remember several years ago the 3800 crowd had this problem with the Intense rocker arms, and in seeing pictures of those, the wear on these look very similar.
Ok, so rocker arms are borked.. ok fine.. BUT.. this wear is ONLY on the DOD cylinders..
SO my question is does anyont else have this problem and on which cylinders.
Please discuss.....

I'm off tomorrow so I'll pull the car in and get some pics.
The sad part is I don't have the stockers anymore, so i don't have anything to put back on the car, so I'm trying to be easy on it.
On a related note, does anyone have the ZZP 1.9 rocker arms? How are they? Anywhere we can still get em? I don't see them on ZZP's site anymore.

Yes. It's eating into the side of the rocker body and has grooved out some of the body.
It reminds me a LOT of the intense rockers from a few years ago with the 3800 crowd.

IIRC HS rockers also had problems in the 3800 crowd with a few batches. They warrantied those out I think...google it.
