it took me 4 hours at a buddies house to do the springs. all simple hand tools can be used, though air tools make it easier they are not necessary. only tool i didnt have that i borrowed was a spring compressor, which we did right on the floor. the ride didnt seem to change much, the car looks a lot better, and it for sure handles better than before. All for a slim $200.

I don't want a huge drop on my GXP, can any of the three offerings from Canuck be used? Noticed they only show one offering for GXP. I'd rather go with the following:

Grand Prix
04-08
1.7' drop
1.7" drop
Coil
2452.42100

$167.95

Anybody use the 1.7" kit on their GXP?

i just put the 1.7 all around on my GXP 2 weekends ago. i would like it to be a little lower, but it is way nice over stock height. ill nab some new pics of how it sits after two and a half weeks of driving.

i used the camber bolts from car quest, work great. except i only put bolts on the top side which got the car into spec for the alignment, but to make it nice and not wear the tires out, i needs all 8 bolts to be camber bolts. ill be putting the other 4 in and getting another alignment in the next few weeks.

Go with the GXP kit. It's really not as low as people think. And I corrected the quote from their page.

As far as camber kits go, I went with the ACDelcos (higher degree of adjustability).
