Default gear shift piece for GXP?

Any know what that silver part is called that shows the gear selection (like PRNDM)? Or have the part number? Also, how hard is that to change?

I have a crack in mine and it's bothering me since the rest of the car is in good shape (I just topped 26k miles after 5.5 years).

shifter bezel??

You might not be able to get just that part.....your best bet is to call a GM dealer and ask, they will tell you if that part can be ordered seperately from the whole shifter assembly, but id put my $$ on that its not

Figures. It's irritating when all you need is the bezel.

Thanks. Will try to call.

I have wondered this as well. Prior owner melted part of mine. Looks horrid.
