Default Been awhile but need some help.

Hey guys, sorry i havnt been around lately or for years lol but have been dealing with a lot of personal problems. Anyways heres the car problem, the car has been sitting since december, i started it once last month and today when i went to start it i got a msg on the dic says charging system failure, tc off, abs off, etc. The battery is at 12-14 volts and i changed one of the post connections hoping that was it but with no luck. Any ideas? I'm getting very close to selling this thing even tho its paid off and i love it but ****.

All I can say is any time I get those messages it has always been the battery. I store the car in the winter so I've had to charge it many times. Maybe the voltage is too low when you go to start.

This happens to me everytime I let the car sit for more the 3 weeks. I have learned to disconnect the battery when parked for extended periods of time. I'll even pull the battery and place it on wood.

I disconnect the battery all the time when it sits but maybe its not holding the charge????? I'll have it hooked up to the charger check the voltage usually 13v then i hook it up to the car and it drops within seconds to 10-11v.

I just had my alternator replaced and it had the battery charging system failure code in my DIC. Warranty replaced it for a $100 deductible.
