governor removal 2004 impala ss

any suggestion on how to remove the governor on a 2002 impala ss? apparently its governed around 110 mph? its my friends car.

I don't think there's an LS4 Impala SS for either of those years.

Edit: 2004 has a 3800 v6 supercharged. Check out those forums.

correction, its a 2004 impala ss. would that be the v6 then? or is there a v8 in that year
