Bad crash
Sunday a guy in a '07 Impy SS decided to street race his friend in a VW Jetta and crashed, killing two of his friends riding along in the Impala. The car went over some tracks, became airborn and lost control when it landed. The car then smashed into a pole and broke into three peices. The driver lived but lost one or both of his legs. He will most likely get to go to prison, along with his buddy in the Jetta. The moral of the story is be careful and don't be stupid. The Impala had after market intake and exhaust so hopefully it's not someone from here.

That's terrible. Condolences to the families. Needs to be prosecuted for manslaughter.
This is why I strictly do track racing, now. Two of my friends, also, recently wrecked their cars and ended up in the hospital by doing stupid stuff.

Sure he was just having a little fun. **** happens.. (unfortunately)
Terrible loss, and very tragic.
Street racing is a big no.. no.. for me now days. Too many crazies out there. Traffic, road conditions, and weather is way too unpredictable. I don't mind a few freeway sprints every now and then. I know when to call it good.
I feel bad for the ones involved and the families.
My cousins neighbor was T-boned by a Civic doing over 100mph. She flew out of the drivers seat, went threw the passenger side door and ended up across the seat. She wasn't wearing a seat belt; but still.. God Dan. No one survived, and my cousin herd it happen while mowing his lawn. Horrible!

Miller, in the state of Texas it's a felony to be involved in a street race when someone is killed. They deserve jail and I'm just glad uninvolved people were not injured or killed. This was on a main street and not out in some industrial area where there is never traffic.

I hope it wasn't CentexSS. He's from around here too. Doesnt he drive an 07 Impala? That really sucks....we all make bad decisions sometimes...this one unfortunately cost some lives. God Bless 'em.

I'll do a freeway one once in a while, but only when I'm by myself and there's enough room.

Come on, street racing isn't stupid. You just have to find a safe spot, not like these idiots that race over tracks and on occupied streets downtown or in neighborhoods.
This is just another example of stupid people making bad decisions. It's not like no one ever dies at a track.

That sucks about the accident - was it local to us? I haven't seen you in a while Haas. People are getting more comfortable driving fast again on the access road in front of Nissan.
P.S. I'm still pulling 4'11" 230lbs jokes on Tony since your 'warning' left on his Fox.
