So im still waiting for my tranny I paid in FULL for my transmission from triple edge back on May 17th. Not only have i not gotten it yet but he hasn't said anything to me. I had to email him and he keeps saying he will get to it in two weeks....its been 2 months. Anyone else been waiting this long?

thats bullshit, i know everyone on this site is in love with this guy but seriously we need to find someone else to go too. the service is absolutely horrible. and for some people like me i cant wait that long for a transmission to come in..

Took 3 months for me to get my box of parts form Dave. 3 months seems to be about the norm for him. 2300.00

Your best bet is to call him. I wouldn't give up on him. He needs to be honest though!

if my tranny goes before i get rid of my car, i planned on ordering some parts from TEP but my daily driver cant be down for 3 months while the tranny god "works his magic" on transmissions for months upon months.

I just called him. He said they are behind because the cores they got were no good and they needed to find new cores. Also i ordered a new torque converter and they have problems with the converters. Something about the steel plates being to porous. He said he hopes to ship mine out at the end of next week....

I ordered hard parts from him and it took about 2 weeks to get it to me. I had to call once and talk to him. All I know is I am getting retuned tonight and I will report back to you guys about how good it is. Preliminary results are very promising, it just the tranny does not know when to shift at times because I have taller gears. The shifts are night and day different compared to stock.

This makes me glad I got in at the beginning and helped start the trend. I dropped my car off on a Saturday and picked it up the next Saturday all done up.

Took me about two weeks to get a valvebody and torque converter. That was back in December before the word got out about his expertise.
He's a one man operation, and that makes it hard.
In the end, it was all worth it, though.

not to take anything away from this guy who is taking 2 months to get ppl thier trans back to them..but i got my 4L60E built like a brick **** house in less than a week by these guys http://www.godleytrans.com/ i took the trans strait to them..they built it and got the stall ordered in only 5 work days!!..and for the low low price of only 1,250 (that's all i got charged for the trannny build + 700 for the stall)..i have made over 60 passes on this tranny with my supercharged SS..it shifts hard and furious and shows no signs of giving in..keeps asking for more
