I used to never venture out of the ls4 section but then i started to go into the LT1 section, and the guys are dicks over there. Everytime someone posts a general question that has been answeres 5 years ago they just post in your thread "use the search function" or something *******'ish about using the search. I have even posted in my thread that I have already searched and I still got the same answer from them about using the search. It seems like if your not running a 10 second or faster car in the LT1 section than your not welcome and they will be a dick to you. So now I just direct my LT1 questions to my Local club/forum where the guys are very welcoming of people who dont know anything to people who know alot.

Here is mine, more basic, very simple and straight forward install. Very happy with it. The one posted above was too glitzy and colorful for me. I wanted a simple digital speedo.

I like it, but I've already been to a point where I max out my speedometer. I wouldn't want to do this just for the visual enhancement.

^^ I honestly don't know. I have had it in triple digits, but just 101, because I wanted to make sure all 3 digits lit up. I will also add that it is more accurate than my speedometer. It matches, perfectly, my GPS speed readings, where the analog speedo is about 2 MPH slow. So, it is not connected in any way to the analog speedo, which suggests to me that it can exceed the analog gauge speed reading on the top end. But I certainly cannot say for sure.

I'd be iffy about buying one of those... If the baud rate isn't high enough, it won't update fast enough to really be useful.
Something you might want to look into instead (This is what I have) is an OBDII Bluetooth adapter, and an app for your phone, along with a universal windshield mount.
I have about 40 bucks in it all... The mount, adapter, and the pro version of Torque... Torque has several different home screens that you can configure to display different data (pretty much EVERYTHING the ecu sees). It supports extended and custom PID's, as well. As far as gauges go, you can have analog-style, analog-digital, half-circle, full digital, graph, and a few more. It can also be configured to display imperial or metric units. To top it all off, it can read and clear codes, datalog, and take videos with embedded OBDII data. As far as the speedometer range... It reads 150mph on my car just fine. I don't really have the urge to test it any higher.

I have heard of that and considered it. But, mine updates fast enough and works great as well. I wanted something in there all the time (ie. not a phone that I use for other purposes) that turns on with the car and off with the car. IF I accelerate very quickly, there is sometimes a 1-2 second lag for it to catch up. Absent crazy rapid acceleration, it is spot on with my GPS.
