I love sea foam, wouldnt leave it in your oil for too long, like 200 miles or something like that or not at all. I have only noticed a diff when using it through vac (brake booster)
I first triied it on my 99 garnd am 3400. it has a ton of miles and it really woke the car up. I then did it to a 02 trans am ws6 w/ 120k and also felt peppier. I then did it to another 3400 v6 grand am @ 75k and couldnt tell a difference. I personally love sea foam.
I did some research when i started using it and there was a lot of talk about oil method. Something about it cleaning **** out in there and then you have that stuff floating around so to drain it out after a short period of time. 200 miles or so.
Theres a lot of additives out there but i only use sea foam @ intake manifold, justice brother's fuel treatment ( saw a good gain in mpg) and i just leave my oil be with good synthetic only.

I dont put anything in my oil anymore. There should be enough cleaning agents in oil now a days to do the job when changing your oil when it needs it.
I used seafoam through my intake on my 3 ls1 cars and other cars iv owned. How much a difference does it make? I dont think anyone can really tell you that.
I usually dump a can in my gas tank every few months and especially before I let the car sit for winter. Its supossed to keep gas good longer and keep the moisture under control. They have recently been saying its a good combatant for ethanol also but idk how true that is.

Through the vaccum line from the brake booster, it goes straight into the intake mani, remove the line from the brake booster and turn on the car then little by little pit seafoam in, careful or itl choke and stall the engine if you put too much at a time

You should not have to use this crap in your oil if your using synthetic. I don't know how many of you have ever broken apart your engine but if you use synthetic everything looks brand new.... if your using conventional well... it does make sludge everywhere.
