Car has been sitting 6 months/ *quick update*
Like the title says, my car has been sitting in a garage for 6 months. I need some tips to ensure a safe startup. the only problem is that I have no tools to do anything. Im currently in the middle of making a move from Germany (gettin out of the army), to Iowa. the car is in minnesota, and any tools i have wont arrive until feb. so i will have to get a full service by a trusted mechanic.
Obviously the battery will be dead, and it was left with a full tank of 93.
i tryed searching the web, and most results were pretty vauge. lots of "just start it up and see what happends."
Just looking for any tips from experience to ensure a safe start up, and short drive to the shop.

negative on the stabil. the car was actually supposed to be driven once a week by my mother when she went to the store. she drove it the first week i was gone, that was it.

I know gas won't go bad that fast but it is still a valid question.
I would jump it and take it over. Check your fluids to make sure they are topped off first and air in the tires. 6 months isn't really THAT long and most likely you won't have any issues.

quick update: finally got home and got to my car, and after 6 months of sitting in the garage (with battery connected), the car started right up, no need for a jumpstart or a new battery.
is this a miracle?
