Default Well its time to say goodbye

I found a new car that i love more than my SS so its time to let her go. im going to try an sell her before i trade it in, how much do you think is a good asking price? 2008 impala SS white, meticulously taken care of, super clean inside and out, no issues what so ever, 60k miles?

I'd guess $12k based on some browsing I was doing a few weeks back. I was pricing mine (everything same as your description except mine has 54k) because I was investigating the new LTZ. Seeing it has a 6 speed auto and a 300 HP V6 I was thinking about upgrading.

Mostmint smack yourself with that "upgrade" comment. Then line em up and we'll see about your "upgrade".

I'd say at least $15,500.

Im thinking 14 selling private. I also looked at that ltz but its at 17-24 mpg. And that ugly 2 tone interior! I'll stick with my ss.

Private, yeah $14k but I'd still say up to $15k as a start. Especially if it's been taken care of and is in good condition/very clean.

Apparently neither of you consider less weight on the front and the same HP to be an upgrade. Should help with handling! I know there is less torque but the six speed should help with that some.

Very true. There was a 2006-09 Impala SS on a Ford dealership lot near me recently that was there for a good 2+ months. Don't know what they were asking for it, but it sat there quite a while. These W Body SS's usually go fast too, at least I know the Montes do.

It's not the same horsepower. Max power on the v6 is achieved at 100 rpms below redline. Where as I'm at max torque at 4k. Not an upgrade <insert foot in mouth and end thread>
