Default Lower ball joint won't seat... help!

So the bearings went out on my d/s half shaft, got the new shaft in without any issues. Bolting everything back together and I snapped the threaded shaft end off the lower ball joint trying to get it seated.. ugh! So now after drilling out the rivets and getting the new ball joint in, ive got everything back together and haven't torqued on it too much yet cuz I feel like I may be doing something wrong and don't want to snap another end off... suggestions? I gotta get this done tonight so I can get to work in the morning please help!

Maybe I can't remember. You could try using something like a big deep socket underneath. Lower the car down or using some blocks to get the right height. And try a big rubber mallet to seat it.

Yea.. I used a mallet to pop it loose in the first place, I guess it should work in reverse ... I needed an outside opinion, was getting so frustrated.. throwin' tools n everything I had to just walk away. Thanks man, im gonna give it a try.
