That's definitely the worst consumption I've heard of. How many miles on the car?

So, it's been drinking oil at that rate for at least 6 months?

Let me ask a stupid question.

How many quarts are you putting in when you change your oil?

Ok, just making sure. When I first bought my car(back in 07) I argued with a guy at a parts store for 10min about how many quarts the car took. He was insistent that it was 4.

Mine was pretty bad when I first bought it. 1000-1500 after I bought it there wasn't any oil on the dipstick. Changed it with synthetic and tuned out DOD, and not a issue anymore.

Are you still under a warranty? There is an updated oil consumption TSB. If you follow the recommendations of the TSB you should be able to remedy this.
