Cool LS4 UD Pulleys

I talked to Zoomer at ZZP recently on making pulleys and he has fabbed one with a balancer on it it. Wondering who would be interested? This is the link to it on gmls4.com below

I wouldn't trust Zoomer, but whatever. See if it works first.

Google zoomer zzp for yourself...

Do we know its more reliable? Do we know of anyone who has put 60,000 miles on one?
Design wise it looks nearly identical to our oem ones by the look of the pics.

Zoomer said he'd let me test one and give my opinion and review on it. So I plan on doing a before and after dyno as well as review etc... I had also talked to John at intense but I'm not to sure if he will continue to build one since zoomer came with one first. John was thinking of creating one without the balancer to see how well it worked.

Gotta be carefull. Running w/o on an engine designed for one could potetially end badly. Take out everything between the flexplate and that balancer.

OK talked to the friendliest guy ive ever talked to customer service wise Chris @ BHJ Development the same guys who built the piece for badheets 800+WHP montecarlo
are pretty much saying if we can get a group buy going on it will gurantee us a discount what they will produce will be a better piece billet all inhouse engineered for about the same price as the rest of the ls balancers they offer now 500 but group buy should be less depending on how many members we can get. count me in if you guys have questions feel free to call them@ 510-797-6780 ask for chris http://www.bhjdynamics.com/

Forgot to mention earlier BHJ also explained the failure of our stock dampers not because of the design but because of the heat involved in a transverse layout (FWD) v8 With no direct air to cool these things in operation it causes extreme temperatures that cause them to wear out quicker than traditional RWD setups...

I think the idea is that it gets the accessories (A/C, power steering, alternator) to spin slower. Since the engine is doing less work to turn all those pulleys, more hp gets from the engine to the wheels.

Not sure how much hp, but I'm having a hard time seeing it being worth $300 Unless it's something I'll have to eventually replace anyway, which might actually be now :p
