Default Solid Motor Mount Group Buy

Hey guys, sounds like there is some decent interest in the solid mounts. I am looking at doing a few sets of 5 front and rear mounts. The price would be $205 shipped for both mounts.

They are 1/4" steel front and rear, fully welded, and the 35mm studs are also welded to the mount so there won't be issues with them breaking loose.

Let me know if you want in. Asking for a $50 initial deposit (refundable if you change your mind), and $155 when they are ready to ship.

Please post interest in the thread, and PM me if you want to get your name on the list!

I will get more pics up soon. Looking at a ship date around mid november for the first 5 sets, pending holidays etc.

Feel free to post about this on model specific sites if you are part of one.

Same here, need confirmation on fit and also curious as to how much increased vibration.

There will definitely be an increased vibration. It is not unbearable though. I ran a solid setup on my Regal for a couple years. The nice part is you can eliminate the dogbone setup, and the rubber isolators between the cradle and frame help reduce vibration.

I will be making a jig to confirm that the solid mounts match up identically to the replacements soon.

If someone is interested I have a set for cheap to test if they want. PM me.

Whoa. Wasuup Mr.moderator congrats!
On a side note I'm worried about solids with a dd and aluminum castings if we could have some type of poly puck between cradle and the mount I'd be game.
