Non-tapshift vs. TapShift Transmission
Let's say I found an Imp SS trans for my GXP. What would need to be done to it to recoup my tap-shift option? Are there many main electrical and mechanical differences between the 2 4T65's? Let's think above the bar and say it's a tep built trans as well

GXP TapShift valvebody and channel plate are different. So if I used the Impy trans I would only be able to use P,N,R,D. No manual mode at all. Called TEP for confirmation

I'm pretty sure a lot would have to be done.. when i got my transmission built they forgot to put in a spacer for the Tap shift and they had to take the whole transmission apart to fix the problem. IIRC there is also a kit that is sold that can convert a regular trans to tapshift. The shop that I had my trans done at charged me extra because it was tap shift
