Default TPMS valve warning

Have a small rim leak on my 08 gxp. The good ole DIC reminds me of it quite often as I havent had the rim dismounted and cleaned yet.

I put air in it at work and as I usually do, I check all 4 and make sure there where I want them to be.

On a seperate rim / tire as soon as I touched the vlave stem with the airchuck it broke in half and shot the valve stem across the parking lot.

Car has 51k miles and this is its first winter. and is rarely driven in any snow.

So here is my rant, and reminder. It may not be a bad idea to get new sensors / valves when changing tires if yours look corroded once removed.

I was only on my second set of rear tires so I do not believe it to be a issue from mounting or dismounting. Ive had these tires on the rear for 18k mi

Thanks for not providing a spare GM.
