Default Tune Up,shift kit, mounts

I was thinking on doing a tune up on my 06 impala ss, but I was wondering from you guys on your opinions on what plugs, wires and etc to get me purring again. Also what is a good shift kit to go with and does it really help or what does it really do. And last but not least where can I purchase those mounts u guys used to improve the car

did plugs and wires on mine yesterday. just went with stock replacements, running cooler plugs on a car that burns oil scares me a little.

anyway i have 89xxx miles and my plugs were pretty bad. lots of build up, and almost all had oil on the threads.

it wasnt bad changing them, i think the hardest part was getting leverage to pop the old wires off the plugs. a long set of pliers or something like that would of made that easier.

plug were pretty easy to get to, only thing i wish i had was a very small extention... the small one i had was just a little too long, and not using one at all didnt work... ended up using a universal joint to get that extra inch. i did unbolt the coil bracket in the back, didnt take it all the way out just moved it around alittle.

not sure about the mounts, but i went with the transgo shift kit, made a nice improvement. fluid replacement cost more than the shift kit.
