Default New car

2008 G37 Sport with a 6sp manual.
3.7l VVEL 11:1 CR 330/270 7500 redline
0-60 in 5.5

This car feels pretty dam quick. Definitely gets sideways real quick
The 245/40/19's do no justice, so I have installed some 285/40/18 Drag radials and have done a 155lb weight reduction. Should be good for low 13's.

I plan on going with a twin turbo setup once it's paid off.

For shame !! ha..

Should be fast with a twin setup.

Since you posted it here, you'll have to race an LS4 car!

Would be a real close drag race stock for stock, although the G37 would destroy a LS4 on the road. It stays in its power, unlike the ls4 who likes to stay in 2nd gear all day long.

Thanks! This engine is pretty much maxed out from the factory. Seems like they are only good for 300-315whp with full bolt ons, and dyno 260-270whp stock. Heavy *** car, it's pushing 3700 lbs. Tons of aftermarket support though, and instead of drag racing, I am thinking of road racing it.

At least you got the 3.7.

One of my favorite kills was a G37 talking A LOT of trash, lol.

Keep us updated.

Seems about right to me. Your trapping 102-103 and that's what the G37's trap stock. A few have done as well as 105 mph stock.

You should be trapping 105-106 with those mods though

Aren't all G37's a 3.7? That's why they call it a G37.

As opposed to stooping down to the G35 like some have, should have been more specific.
