Impala Shocks
I plan on replacing my shocks in the next month or so, as my ride quality has severely deteriorated (86,000) miles. I was underneath the car this weekend, nothing broken, bent, or out of place.
I know there are many threads on shocks, but all seem to be for GXP's. I've seen Gabriels, KYB, Monroe out there. Probably wouldn't go with KYB from what I've read, and I've sold gabriels long enough to know it is a quality product when it comes to HD trucks, but I don't think I want to put them on my car.
Which leads me to my question.
What are the best OE shocks I can get? (Just the shock) Money doesn't matter, car isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Will the KYBs fit? I've read around the net that the SS has a special space requirements for the struts. The KYB site says it will fit with 18" wheels and is OE direct replacement. Bilstein no longer makes the struts for the SS. So that leads to what options?
