Default Whats the in and out line of our transmission?

I want to know what is the in and out line coming out of transmissions? is it the one that is facing the front of the car or is it the one that is facing the passenger side of the car?

I am wanting to do this because I want to bypass the stock cooler and run just my aftermarket one

Thanks

Reverse...return is red pressure is blue...correct on the fitting if you want to step it up to 1/2 line youll need -6 to -8
