Plug wire installation? Ok here's what I got I started installing the ngk tr6ix's on 07 imp ss and I tore one of my boots away from the connector so I'm going today to get plug wires from summit. I order the msd 32813's. Do I have to reinstall the metal plug colors and how do I do it? All of them came off with the old wires.

I put in new GMPP red factory wires which fit the metal shields... I dunno if the aftermarket wires you bought will fit the metal boot protectors properly. Your choice if they fit. Some reuse them , some chuck em.
