Default Do these cars eat batteries?

Noticed my GP was dead after two days of sitting. Is this normal? Anybody else having the same issues? I usually leave it sit for a week, driving different vehicles, and this is the first time it was dead. I have had the DIC diplay "battery saver active" Not sure what that indicates?

Mine goes a couple weeks before it turns over slow. You must have a bad battery or something creating a draw on the battery.

Ive had mine go 2 months and not had a problem. I used a Amp probe and mine draws about 5 miliamp hour. These cars have a Retained Accessory Power "after 10 minutes power kicks off to accessory's etc, it may not be turning itself off like it is suppose to or you could have a bad diode "Which can drain a battery" on your alternator or you could just have a bad battery.

I am on my 5th battery in 6 years. Only an optima yellow top lasted more than a year.

Same red top I had in my previous gp has been in the gxp. red top is 7 years old now. Been in the gxp for 3, never had a issue. All my cars get a rewire thoughband I always recommend a more powerful battery than what the factory recommends. I have a 900cca 1000ca model

Need to see if anything is drawing excessive power after RAP goes off after 10min.

Always cram in as big of a battery as you can. Makes it easier on the poor thing in numerous situations.

Ill have to check. I'm sure the battery is a cheap one. Ill pull it this evening and do a load test on it. Where are you guys checking the amp draw? The positive cable off the battery?
