Default dod delete help!!!!

hey guys so im in the middle of deleting my dod completely and was just wondering about the stock valley cover it has a dod connector in the middle while the dod delete kits valley cover does not so what happens to the dod connector? do u just unplug it and be done with it or is there something more? thanks

Yes you just unplug or disconnect that and plug the opening, if your reusing the ls4 valley cover. If not it isn't required. Then u have to cut and reweld the opsu at a certain degree, for clearance check the sticky for details

ok cool yea im not going to reuse the ls4/stock valley cover i was just wondering about the plug/connection coming out the harness for the dod connector

Don't start the car up till you flash the tune though

Make sure the tuner utilizes your cam card to to get your injector timing right.

so dont start it at all or just dont drive it? i didnt plan on driving it but i guess i needed to start it to get it on the trailer

So all of the kits that have the LS3 valley covers need to have modified OPSU ports?

Yea I believe any of the valley covers have to be modified to fit the ls1/ls6 intake swap

Do not start it, if dod is still enabled in your tune it will go into limp mode upon start up

How about if you re-use the LS4 intake manifold, I was planning on sending mine out for porting.

what is limp mode on these ls4 cars? ion my old GTP limp mode basically was cut down on power and 2nd gear start im thats all it is on the ls4 cars it will be fine for what im doing like i said earlier im just gonna start it and drive it on a trailer and that will be it until it gets to the tuner
