Tie rod Steering Knuckle help
I had a spinning tie rod end nut and had to take an angle grinder to cut the stem for removal. While I was cutting I gouged the top of the steering knucle where the tie rod goes in.
Will this affect steering or damage the new tie rod end? Should I replace the entire steering knuckle?

No, if anything you may get a little dirt into your new ball joint at the most. I dont see that being really any type of problem. A pickel fork separate and a 3 foot sledge hammer works great for that
I've thought about it a little more and the sharp edges of the knuckle rotating on the boot might cause premature failure of the balljoint boot, may want to grind it smoother. But do not take alot of material off, justs smooth any sharp or steep edges
