Default Resonator delete after muffler delete?

I got my mufflers cut out a week or two ago and got some 3.5 by 16 inch single tips. I think it sounds amazing but it got me wondering..... how much louder would it be without a resonator compared to a just a muffler delete??

If you're into the crackle pop sound then go for it. It'll be pretty loud too.but in the end the resonator isn't a restriction of your exhaust by any means

Motion seconded. Go catless and keep the res if you're looking for less restriction without sounding like a gasping 4-banger

Aye. Go catless if you want sound. Resonator is there to stop soundwaves from traveling too far along the exhaust tubing and "resonating" to a louder frequency. That's the drone people talk about.

Going catless requires way more and at the point just buying a exhaust is more feasible

Yeah she drones a hell of a lot already! I think Ill save for the transmission rebuild. (soon) After that she will probably stay the way it is. Then when I get enough money..... Trans am time!!!
