Default 11.01 Still the Record??

After all this time, is the 11.01 pass by supercatxr7 still the current record for the LS4 community?

I can't find any evidence or confirmation elsewhere of anyone running faster?

Just looking for a target.

yes sir that is your target. The problem all of our cars face is....money and traction and the damn transmission.not many wbodies can seem to get deep into the 10 or 9 second realm without a hardcore 4t65 build with parts that have been discontinued. And then finding a tourqe converter that can hold the power. Best of luck

It is really surprising that nobody has gone farther. The 3800 cars have some amazing numbers and 60' times in this chassis. Granted, they produced far more and made them over a much longer stretch of time, but regardless...I figured there would have been a few faster than that by now.

That's pretty much the just of it, the GXP is a surprisingly rare car, between 05-08 just under 15,000 of them were ever produced. Don't know about the production numbers of the other car's but the GXP would be the flagship vehicle of them all. Low production #'s, equals a lack of interest from the aftermarket to produce parts. Doug thorley even DC'ed the headers they were producing for these cars. Discounting the FWD disadvantage they have, and inherently weak trans from the factory.

funny thing is they are more common than the Monte SS and the unicorn Super. Impalas were the common ones.
