242hp is likely with the converter locked, which is alot more typical of what these cars put down to the wheels stock, where as 270hp is with the converter unlocked, you'd be surprised how much of a bump in hp you can see just by not locking the converter. I wish these car's were capable of picking up 30hp with just a tune and intake. I'd say a reasonable estimate your probably around 250-255hp whp when dyno'ed properly given your trap speeds. You'll need to consider more serious mods to get faster but you could probably hit a 13.8-13.9 with a better 60 ft, its just gonna be very hard. Try runnning on a half tank of gas or less next time at the track, and try some higher octane fuel if your track sells it.

i like the roll on theory,my car sometimes bogs when i hit it full on,put i just put ls1 manifold on so lew is still tuning it and for what its worth my 66 chenille ran 13.6 at 109 had 10 bolt so i just left at at about 2k,and i think my car is comparable in feel as far as seat back issue but that 66 had a muncie so i was shifting,so I'm gonna take it next week and run it and ill post, pretty much same mods as impala we talking about, think the ls1 and ls6 man swap would help here as he says not pulling at end, with this manifold this car pulls much better high,i wanted to wait until ls6 tb and headers went on put i gotta run it,got the fever, lol

ls1 intake manifold should give you a decent bump in power compared to his mods, probably worth at least 15hp even though its the lesser of the manifold options, its still ridiculously less restrictive then the LS4. I dont even come within 5 KPA of local atmospheric pressure, still pullin vacuum in the high RPM's at WOT.

My impala before it was turbocharged with ls6 Im, ls6 tb, dt headers custom 3in ls7 maf put down 312 on a dyno jet and ran 13.1 at 106 with 1.9 60 on the same tires. So u are close to what you should be try a better burnout and less tire pressure your 60 ft is key. As I really learned with being turbocharged I couldn't break 12s and was trapping 117 120 not fully tuned then a got a couple 1.8 1.9s and 11s. I know it's frustrating. I'm itching my self to get this cam tuned and shoot for really low 11s

Lets face the facts that FWD is a crutch when drag racing. I kinda gave up racing my monte for that fact and just enjoy rolling pulls. I run 1/8 mile with nitto nto5r 285 40 18's and launch on a progressive controller and run 8.9's @ 88mph. done all kinds of things nothing works, pretty poor if you ask me. All that time lost off the line really hurts performance. 1/4 mile might produce better results, might make that trip one day. Car is scaled in at 3745lbs, nitrous setup, subs and amps and 1/4 tank of juice.

Gotta get the suspension right even fwd can hook with the right components. Unfortunately are shock options are limited for direct bolt on we need compression rebound settings to fully utilize everything
