That's a common symptom on a high mileage car that is worn out internally and lost it's tolerances and causing low oil pressure

When you replaced the sending unit did you replace the filter underneath it or at least clean it? I have read they can get gunked up and cause false readings. This is the part I am referring to .

Oh, ok just throwing that out there then. The sender and filter is removed when the cam is swapped out? Is that the part on the intake that gets blocked off? Mine is all stock so I really have not looked into all that yet. Thanks

Edit: I looked it up, I get it now. But is the sending unit relocated down near the oil filter now or somewhere else using adapters?

Same concept when you get a new non dod cover just chop the opsu bung and re weld it at a angle to clear the intake

Ok the reason I ask if the wiring had to be extended that could be a connection problem. I would start looking at that since the sending unit has already been replaced. If its still in that general area then probably not but if the unit was relocated down low near the filter then the chance of a bad connection somewhere could be greater. I am anxious to see what this car will do on the dyno, as I am sure we all are. I hope this is resolved quickly.
