Default ac issue

do these things have a problem with the blend doors? i noticed mine was acting up and wasnt always getting as cold as it normally did. well now that fixed itself but it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. kind of like theres a piece of plastic or paper partially blocking the air path.

If it is clicking when adjusting temperature of circulation/recirculate it is the blend door actuator motors. $40 a piece and a tight squeeze to change them but it is fairly easy. I had all three go out last year.

it would be pretty hard for any large debris to make it in there, considering it has to get past a air filter, and the grills prior to the air filter. But despite those challengs i have seen large debris make it in to those areas "on other cars" The blower might be damaged, or maybe your actuators are just making a weird noise instead of the typical clicking. The Car will report an error for any actuator that gets stuck, but you'll need a scan tool that can scan AC codes.

the more i listen to it, as its spooling down it sounds like a bearing... i replaced the motor a few years back i might see if its a lifetime warranty one and just swap it out.
