Default Need help wit exhaust

Ok so at the moment im running a 3 inch exhaust all the way back to duel 3 in hooker maxflow mufflers my car is pretty loud and I kinda feel like im being rude to the neighbors so I was wondering if I took the two mufflers off and put only 1 midway up the car before the exhaust pipes split would it quite it down some or if I should just change mufflers and put a cut out

That sounds great, I wouldn't change it. Just be courteous as can be for the neighbors. It's the same thing with Harleys. Just don't flog it in the neighborhood

It does sound great man i wouldn't want it quieter.
I feel bad sometimes but I've never had anything but compliments on my muffler and cat delete. Cold starts are loud man no two ways about it.

A good quality resonator would help out just enough

The cam is 220 224 I believe this is it without a resonator and flow masters this is like 5 times as loud as it is now the phone doesn't do justice on how loud it is

it does sound like your tuner needs to bump up your idle rpm just a tad though what RPM you idle at

Custom grind or did you buy it from somewhere? Curious about the full specs. On the edge of being large for the 5.3 and you can hear it, im curious what our idle engine vacuum is. I had to bump mine up to about 800rpm with 20* of idle timing advance to get some decent idle vacuum, it ranges from 48-52kpa depending on whether its hot or cold.

Do you happen to have a cam card on the full specs?

sounds good. but like someone else said a good resinoator or just an additional muffler upstream would help. or a cat but you probably dont want to do that.
i have a similar setup 3 inch all the way back and dual flowmasters. it was crazy loud without a cat, i put one of the flowmaster bullet cats on and it helped. i have a dynomax bullet laying around that i'm going to add to it as well

Been reading into the vibrant ultra quiet resonator 1142 or the magnaflow 14719 to put upstream of the mufflers to help quiet the car down just a tad
