What the heck is wrong with my Impala?
Anyone else experience this?
2006 Impala SS with 112k miles. Driving to work this morning... randomly, three separate times this happened all at the same time within 1 second:
dash went blank and came back
radio went off and then on again
interior chime sounded a couple *dings*
door locks unlocked and locked again
traction control light came on and stayed on
brake light came on and stayed on
compass went to CAL (calibrate)
ABS light came on and stayed on
Engine kept running the whole time. What the HECK?

Do you have the cold air intake that has the box made of metal?
It's known for the positive battery post to bump the cold air intake during shifts and short out the entire car making it reboot basically while in motion

your BCM rebooted, you need to find out why. I've had this happen before but not while moving down the road. Mine did it on start, the voltage to the BCM dropped when starting causing the doors to lock/unlock, door chimes, etc. Good luck finding it, I hate electrical gremlins.
