greetings from a new member. I'm installing a factory Nav unit in my 06 monte carlo ss. I know that the VSS wire is the brown one on the 10 pin connector. It seems as every possible picture on the net has been removed or no longer exists. the problem is that I see two brown wires on the far left side of the connector looking towards the fire wall. Is it the last brown wire or the one near the white one? The one on the far left does not continue to the other side of the mating plug. I've tried to include a picture for reference. Thanks!

Only vss wire i know of goes from the vss sensor to the ecm and its orange

It would be the very first brown wire on the left of your photo

that be the one thanks!!!!!!! even my gm tech was puzzled about that. his computer said to tap into the orange wire in the air box. this is easier.

what type of wire metal connector do i need for these type of connectors? The brown wire in pin E does not continue to the mating plug. I plan on running my new VSS wire to that open slot. thanks!
