Default Spark plugs Impala SS

What's a good plug for this car ? I've got Livewires plug wires with the stock coils. Should I upgrade the coils first ?

If I remember correctly from a thread, the coils on these usually never have to be changed right?

I've read similar stuff on this forum about that, but I honestly don't know for sure

eww, both garbage..

e3 plugs are crap.. marketing gimmick.. stick with NGK plugs..

and MSD stuff, I've seen time and time again MSD stuff causing misfires.. again, stick with NGK or AC Delco wires..

My msd wires along with could tress others have never had a issue, mine are ohming .023 still after all these years. No issues to date. Ngk and a Delco are trash especially the price for them and considering there resistance which was in the 100s to 200s iirc

If you think that NGK and delco wires are trash because they have resistance in the 100s, you are as dumb as the people who think MSD coils and E3 plugs net you horsepower gains. Stock coils, and NGK TR5/TR6 plugs depending on your mods, gapped at .045 are all these cars will ever need NA. Wires are personal preference, I used the taylor thundervolts but not because of the low ohm's, because of the quality.

I agree, the low ohm wires are a gimmick. The high voltages flows through a magnetic field. The ohms is misleading when compared to effectiveness. As matter of fact, wires that have low resistance are typically cheaper for the manufature to create due to the the manufaturing process of these, "low ohm wires". Some people also beleive that having a low ohm, "spiral wire - Which is what most low ohm wires are" think they will have the same performanc eof a solid core plug wire, which is untrue. Long story short, Spiral wire, or Carbon wire. Low resistance, or high resistance. 45,000 volts does not care.

Incase you are wondering, "why is testing ohms of a carbon wire considered part of diagnosing a bad wire", well even though the resistance is high, if its higher then its specifications, that means the carbon has, "burned out".

I do not agree with calling someone dumb however.......

Again, your lack of comprehensive ability blows my mind. My point in presenting ohms was the consistent performance of the wore over the years. Meaning a quality wire. Unlike Lewis from Diablo above statement. Do I need to break it down further for you?
