Default 2005 ls4

I know somebody that wants to sale me a LS4 engine.Its ouit of a Grand Prixe front wheel drive.Question,I know its probally a stupid one.Can you put the front wheel drive LS4 engine in a rear wheel car or truck.Like a S10 or LT1 94-97 camaros?

no, the bolt pattern on the block is for FWD transmissions only

it could be done, its basically a GM 3800 bolt pattern. you could use an auto out of any rwd v6 with the same pattern. the question is why though. just go to your friendly u-pull it and find a express 2500 or 3500 and use that whole powertrain.

and the LS4's dont have provisions for the starter on the block, its on the trans

Thanks for the info.Why,I wonted to put a LS engine in my 94 Z28.Im styill going to,I just come across this one a t a good price.
