GXP Factory Battery Size

GXP Factory Battery Size
Was doing a little digging because my battery died. When the battery died several years ago I just replaced it with the size that was in (3585). In doing some digging, it appears a 34 is the correct size. the 34 is physically larger than a 35 or 85.
I want to replace my battery with the correct size (and the group 34 are more amps/CCA). I am a little skeptical that it will fit. Is 34 indeed the correct battery size that came in the GXP's?
I know people move batteries to the trunk and such. Right now I am strictly trying to find out the correct original battery size. The owners manual does not list it.

This should help.
The original AC-Delco which HSV fits to the Holden VE/Opel Omega chassis down here aka your G8 GXP. This was from a late '08 donor.
CCA 710 so an earlier comment was probably on the money. Maybe not so much for cranking but more to run the plethora of electronics on these higher spec HSVs.
Bonus shot of a pre-war stationary diesel engine flywheel in the background
