Default Oil Pressure sending unit

Does anyone know where to put the oil pressure sending unit for the gauges at? Where is the spot on the engine? I am not sure.

Thank you
Kevin

I thought it already had a oil pressure sending unit ? Maybe i'm not understanding you. As far as i know of you can split the connection off of the factory oil pressure sending unit to a gauge inside the cabin.

According to the 07 MC/Imp service manual, it's located on the Valve Lifter Oil Manifold located in the 'V'. Look beside the throtle body close to the intake manifold on the front or oil filter side of the engine.

Hmm, duno if you could replace the sender. This is where the sensor is for the oil pressure that the ECM uses.

There's also a replaceable oil filter up there for the Valvle Lifter Oil Manifold. It's right under the oil pressure sender, remove the sender and you can then remove the filter according to the service manual.

Interestingly, the service manual says that if you replace the Valvle Lifter Oil Manifold oil filter, that you should replace the o-ring and the oil pressure sender with new parts.

Anyone know about the trans temp gauge on the 06 mcss if you can just split the signal off into a gauge or what. Would be nice to have a pod with voltage / trans temp and oil pressure.
