Default New pic of Eibach GXP next to Impala SS...

My mother is in the ICU here in Pittsburgh. I was just able to post the links for the pics. Here they are...

http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/a...h/Lowered1.jpg

http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/a...Rearspring.jpg
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/a...Wheellower.jpg
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/a...rontspring.jpg

Well, just so everyone knows, I put Eibachs on my GXP!!!
http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe...08810600015078 and part number 38108.140.

I got a decent amount of drop in the front but not as much as I would like in the rear. I may remove this kit and sell it. It is for and will fit ANY W-Body car (1.2 inch all the way around) and is the kit for the 2006 Impala SS. No one believed me! I spoke with the head tech at Eibach. I should have bought the kit for the 04-07 Grand Prix GT and GTP kit which would have been 1.4 front and 1.8 rear, or went with Sprint Springs which would have been 1.7 all the way around. So everyone, Eibach or Sprint?

I still have my GXP springs. This will all be in eBay as soon as I decide on which kit to get next. The first purchase was a test to see if it would work, and it did. Pics as soon as I can post them. Am I the first Eibach GXP?

Oh, and anyone know about this http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.a...tmode=1&smode=1
GXP Strut Tower Brace.

Thanks for the pics. It's hard to get an idea how it looks because the tires blending in with the shadows. It looks like the rear could use some more lowering like you said.

Whats the ride like? I think I would only look at putting on a air bag system.

Yikes...not feelin' the huge difference front to back. You sure you have them seated properly (not sure if you can ***k up this sort of install and get it all back together correctly).

I'm waiting for some type of feedback on the Eibachs, but it doesn't seem like this thread would help! Too much rake on that set-up, no ride info! Besides most of you seem to be more concerned with how many threads were started and who got the pics first ? Let us get some real world ride feedback and overall thoughs on the kit! Thanks for posting the pics BTW!

I second this. We have someone trying to show us something new, lets get back on topic and find out more information about his setup.

Question

X3....
I am with HExx and everyone else. Do a solid review, write up of the install, what was used/needed. How the handling felt before and after. Did you gain or lose anything?
