Unhappy GXP Front Rotors

So I noticed a bit of shuddering happening when applying the brakes recently. Had a look at the front rotors and noticed several cracks forming on the front rotors (stock ones have 67k km on them). Since this is a major safety concern, it's time to replace the rotors.

I found these on the web: http://brakeperformance.com/site/bra...oogle.shopping

Anyone bought these and have comments on their performance? These are nearly $200 less than the EBC rotors that Summit carries.

I got the r1concepts ones off ebay. the pads that came with them are semimetallic, but for like $270 it was a good deal i guess. this was for drilled/slotted front and rear rotors with pads.

220 for just rotors and around 300 for the package now it looks.

When I was shopping around for pads and rotors I found that place too. I sent them an email asking some questions and they never replied, which put me off them.

Reading through their description of what they sell it seems to be quality stuff with good warranties, but they're a no name as far as I can tell. None of the car owners I've talked to in my group have done business with them.

In the end I figured I wasn't going to take chances on no name front brakes with them. When I redo my brakes next I might buy a rear set of rotors from them and see how they do.

If you want to be brave give them a try and let us know.

Not sure if your looking to upgrade or just replace with OEM but Napa and Raybestos now make OEM replacements for the GXP. I looked and found that Checker/Advance carry Raybestos for around $77, and NAPA runs about $85.

Actually, I'm so pissed at how the stock ones grooved within the first couple of thousand km, I'm actually looking for something that is just vented and slotted. Since this is a grocery getter and not a race car, the cross-drilling is just for looks anyway.

I need some rims to show off my d/s ones since you can barely see them now.
