When I purchased my kit I knew nothing about nitrous! This read really helped me out: https://ls1tech.com/forums/nitrous-oxide/846230-everything-nitrous-related-stock-bottom-end-all.html

dont run a dry kit on a LT1, not a good idea. The computer cant keep up with the juice, so all the kits out there raise the fuel pressure to provide the extra fuel. The stock injectors were never meant to do anything like this. This is the main reason why i wouldnt go dry with a LT motor. LS, they are fine, LT no way.

The limit for LT1's is a 150 shot, people go higher but there are many risks involved. I would say a 150 shot is okay provided your going to buy all the safety items needed.

The install isnt too bad if you know what your doing. But if not you may want to get a buddy whose handy or take it to a shop. I personally dont do my own kit, a buddy does my work because it am not confident in myself. I would advise something similar if you dont want to give it a go.

I would go with a kit from Nitrous Outlet. They will work with you to make sure you get what you want. I have spoke with Ray and Dave there, both are stand up guys.

I went with HSW and the guys helped me constantly! My entire kit is from HSW and they helped with every question I had before and after purchase, Like I said I knew nothing about nitrous when I purchased the kit, I had bought it because HS had a huge christmas sale. LOL With that being said I got my window switch from Nitrous Outlet and they helped too.

Im interested in this, is the link you posted for everything u would need to safely install the kit onto an lt1 car??? Im lookin at buildin my motor with le2 head and cam with full bolt ons and suspension mods and stuff in a few months here hopefully. If i can safely add juice without worrying about blowin my motor sky high i might actually look into it.

He can run a dry shot with the right goodies to go along with it, but the wet is def the way to go. There are some things you will have to do when running a 150 shot or higher. IMO I say go with a 100 shot just to be safe on the bottom end. Nitrous Outlets Plate systems are rated at the wheels. With what you have done to your car going by your sig, a 100 shot will be more then enough to spank pretty much anything on the road!!

That kit does have everything you would need. Anything after that would just be bells and whistles.

You would want to get the bracket that mounts the bottle where the spare tire and jack go. Also the panel that mounts in your ash tray is another thing I would look at too. The bottle braket is like $50 bucks and $59.99 for the ash tray panel.

okay so im thinking 75 shot i dont want to get to greedy ya know and blow the motor i just want that little extra!

So from what i read the DRY kit is easy to install, but everyone says go WET?

Can i go DRY? I am pretty mechanically inclined i do all the work on my car and had no problems with anything i have fixed!

You can go dry but from what I undersatand it's not as efficiant power wise and some other downfalls as far as what you have to do to run it..call Nitrous Outlet and talk with them. They kick ***!

man people always say dry kits are dangerous..and they are not. i wouldnt run a 200 shot dry but have sucessfully ran a 125 shot for more than a year with not one problem..just make sure you run premium gas, get a step colder spark plugs gapped at 035-.040 and you will be set. and put your nozzle before the maf..

That kit is a Nitro Dave's kit

and dry kits are no easier to install than a wet kit.

Go For A Wet Shot For 100hps Or 75 But "wet"

If You Dont Have Time To Buy Your Tr6 , Put Yours Tr55 At 0.040
And I Recomend A Ignition Box 6a Or 6al

And Let Me Know Your Time In Sacramamento Raceway

please, please, please do not run Tr55s on nitrous....its just not worth the risk.

TR6s or equivalent can be picked up at any local parts house or can be ordered with your nitrous kit.

$16 plugs or $XXXXX motor
